Very good batch today.

Friday at least - a helluva week it was. Good to have some cashmeres and flannels to tone down for a while.

Again, some interesting fits on the last few pages - the occassionally flame-throwing has been entertaining.

Criticism (i´m looking at you, @Caustic Man) is welcome - praise from you @Forper, as well :bigstar:

RL cashmere herrringbone jacket

charcoal turtleneck

Corneliani flannel slacks

Meermin chukka boots

I'm a fan so you wont get a lot of criticism from me. One thing that I think you do among the best in this forum is that you always look very comfortable in your clothes and the clothes look comfortable on you. That's a key to elegance in my mind.

This is one of the best fits of yours I've seen. A lot is going on but the muted colours combined with a great mix in textures keep it all together. Very nice. My only (small) caveat is the sweater (cant really see what it is from the pictures, is it a navy turtleneck?). I might have gone with something lighter, a winter white maybe.

Oops, saw now that you wrote that it was charcoal. Still, same point.

Is that shirt oxford cloth or chambray?

Still winter cold, for young and old.

It's a chambray. I realize this outfit is mixing formalities a bit, but it was intentional. Hey, Fridays should be at least a little casual, right?

I don't particularly dislike chambray with a jacket and tie.  I prefer oxford though.  It still has the casual vibe, without going overboard.  BTW, I still like your top half. I'm not crazy about your bottom half.

@Dennis Walter if you really want to know what I think, I don't mind the lower contrast of the jacket and trousers, but I would have gone with a light blue OCBD and an appropriate tie. The dark turtleneck is incongruous with the low contrast of the rest of it. Smash that PS down a bit too. Not a fan of that shoe color in general, but you've used it well here.

What? That's about the best shoe color ever.

For me, it's too much brown. Navy turtleneck or cream turtleneck and a navy (-ground) scarf and the outfit would be great. Still pretty good though.

Meh, I'm not much for the light shoes. Cream turtleneck would look good, and yeah, still not bad.

And this is the outfit I am wearing for my last day at work.

It is a little heartbreaking to leave a great team that you hired yourself and had so much pleasure working with.
