I think I might be channelling AAS with this fit. Or maybe DonC?

Anyway, I believe we have a five-pattern bingo here.

This is CM, so I probably should have buttoned my collar. Oh well, I'll make up for it with some Mick Jagger:

Tie: Chipp silk matka

Shoes: AE Westchester

Everything else: Brooks Brothers

Not bad! Normally grey shirts are meh, but this one works well here as a bridge between tie and jacket.

I also like your post-structuralist inclusion of the camera within its own image. Very self-referential!

Cheers, thanks!

Actually, the camera was so busy being post-structuralist it failed to render the shirt properly. It's just a regular blue BB OCBD. I do have my eye on a Kamakura grey one, though...

Herein lies the problem - our objects seek to rebel against the paradigm within which we have sought to constrain their usefulness.

I believe Jacques Derrida has something incomprehensible to say about this.

OH GAWD DERRIDA my sister did PhD work on that stuff and she doesn't even understand it.

(camera commits seppuku rather than contemplate the implications)

Thanks man. Actually both my suits are OTR. This one is a bit more tapered in the waist but I love the weight and feel of it. They are doing a trunk show on the 24th in San Francisco so I plan to get one more during that time.

I hope that pink/blue/navy/white striped shirt in the pile is heading to the Goodwill! Suit looks really good. Hopefully I'll see you at that trunk show.

Haha yea that was a shirt that was a mistake during my earlier years. It would be awesome if you were there!

Quote: Love all the looks except two: 1) The popped-collar, zippered sweater does nothing for me and 2) The cuffs on the cuffed pants look awfully high--I wouldn't go over 1 5/8" or 1 3/4" max.
Choc is 6 and a half feet plus. 2" cuff is pretty standard for average height guys.

+1 on others' comments, this is really a beautiful fit IMO. Don't often see a a hard 3 that looks this good.
Deets on cloth and make would b great.
Edit_ Sart Part huh? nice cut

I believe you're chanelling a train wreck here. Everything fits well, but that's the only nice thing I can say about that fit. Why are you wearing a dark and very rustic waistcoat with a pink tie, lighter than navy jacket and light trousers and a flower lapel? It just doesn't work. Ditch the waistcoat, the purple socks and quite possible the loafers, and you have yourself a nice fit.

Tie is tangerine, not pink. Maybe you need to adjust your monitor?

Agree about the socks and shoes - they are too much. OTOH I still like everything above the ankles.

Appreciate your feedback though (as always), even if I disagree with it.
