@OmarDubaibanker  Omar, you say it's not great, but I beg to differ. Sure, the quality makes it hard to give a proper evaluation, but I'm liking what I see (except maybe for the shoes, but again, hard to judge, so I'm giving you benefit of the doubt)! Just a little more room in the trousers would improve the look by a lot, creating a solid, undisrupted fold from the waist to the hem. Jacket seems a little short, too!

You and I are roughly the same build, and I know how challenging it can be sometimes to fit our bigger frames well!

More nsfsf combos.

Having an Indian dinner with my fiancée. I've somehow grown to like the lavender shirt with that cordudoy jacket. Not seen: Cream white flannels, brown quarter brogues, navy blue skull braces/suspenders.

Beautiful.

Is that a Drake's tie?

I fear I will sound like a cranky old man, but seriously, what is happening in US PhD programs these days? Poor research, solutions seeking problems, and lamentable presentation/teaching skills. I'm tired.

Though you look inspiring to me @Seajen! Keep on keeping on...

@Seajen

I think you look better shaved.

Nice jacket, shirt, tie kombo. Harmonically, but not servile.

My sympathies.  We have reason to be cranky.

The uncritical sense of personal entitlement bordering on narcissism instilled in U.S. school children by the public schools starting a few decades back is now predictably showing up in newly minted Ph.D.s and ABDs, having shown up in the undergraduate population starting about eight years ago or so.   It’s very bad out there and I only see it getting worse.   The professoriate today is a mere shadow of what it was when I first entered academia.  </rant>

Good luck.

Cheers,

Ac :)
