I know. Never around when man needs them the most :-)
Nowdays for cufflinks, I've trained my older son. He is rather expensive and doesn't give any sound styling advise, though. Damn milenials.

Thanks again to everyone who likes my pictures and to everyone who posts pictures of themselves.  I like seeing everyone's pictures, because I know how much effort everyone who posts pictures puts into taking and posting their pictures.

For StanleyVanBuren (and others who might be interested) here are pictures of the older version of the Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece label and the union label in the suit that I wore today.

For those unfamilar with ACWA union label dating, this is a mid-seventies union label.  Here's more information on union label dating:

The comments about the shoulders are a little confusing to me.  This suit has very little shoulder padding.  It's from the "natural shoulder" era.  I bought almost all of my suits and jackets at Brooks Brothers before the US Bicentennial (which was in 1976) and they all have "natural shoulders" like this suit.

Indeed.  I recall as a child my father talking about "natural shoulders" (his was the WW II generation; I'm a "baby boomer').   He wore mostly BB and Hickey Freeman.  If I recall correctly Freeman even used the phrase pretty prominently in its marketing in the 1960s (and perhaps earlier?).

Cheers,

I'm not saying the shoulders look built-up, it's just that the current trend is so anti-padding to the point of sometimes having none at all that if it had a little less it would solidly place it in 2016 menswear fashion whereas otherwise it's more possible that it's from one of a few other time periods (which it is).

Speaking of grown-ass man lapels, @Pliny looks to be sporting lapels over 4" as well.

Pliny, is that another Kent Wang with the wide lapel option?

Pretty much wear the same things over and over these days lol. But, you can't beat this view of the city.

Eidos jacket, Canali shirt, J.Crew jeans, Meermin boots.
