Congrats! You both look great and this deserves a requote.

This was my 100th post! Only took me 6.5 years of "active" membership.

As was mentioned earlier in this thread EFV went to Pitti and upr_crust, went to New Jersey.  I, on the other hand, went to UCLA Orthopaedic Institute in Santa Monica and had an injection with a needle and syringe that I think was designed to be used by a veterinarian who specialized in treating elephants.

However, I did meet Ozzie the Dinosaur in the Orthopaedic Waiting Room.

Brooks Brothers jacket and tie, L L Bean blue OCBD shirt, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Ralph Lauren Polo (Golf) Fair Isle sweater vest, Orvis cord trousers, and Allen-Edmonds khaki grain McTavishes......

If you've got to do drugs, it's best to do the ones they give to elephants.

Yup - agreed. It's a bit restrictive during the day - I will probably get it let out just a bit.

Not sure if the suit is cut too long..or you have long arms... or the picture was at an angle, kinda feel like the jacket's really long proportion wise. Others seeing this or is it just me?

Cool tie, not sure about the square though, stands out a lot among the lighter more neutral colours

It's a try, what do you think for a Friday ? Maybe a button-down could be better here...

There are hundreds more knowledgable folks here than me, but.

I think the suit may be too tight. You may also need a higher rise on your trousers next time around, they seem to hang too low. It is hard to make out everything in the pictures but, while I like the tie, in one photo the ties and suit appear to both have the same scale of dots. Anyone else see this?

The shirt collar is nice. Again, I am just learning and offering my non-expert opinion. Hopefully others will chime in to help.
