True story. My camera has a sensor that takes pictures of me when I smile. Unfortunately, there is no deadpan setting.

Today is a day of office parties - lunch out with my staff for the holiday season, then an awards ceremony later in the afternoon (I've been invited, since I survived a particular form of audit), and then a general holiday party for all of the personnel in my division. Not a day for hard work.

Suit - Paul Stuart
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - Damiano Presta, Rome
Cufflinks - Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace
Vintage watch chain
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's NYC
Homburg - Selentino, via JJ Hat Center

I got a letter on a lonesome day
It was from her ship a-sailin'
Saying I don't know when I'll be comin' back again
It depends on how I'm a-feelin'.

My camera is much simpler.  It has to be simpler, since when I ask random people on the street to take my picture, all all they have to do is push the big silver button (and not put their finger over the lens)............

Thanks, @Sander!

@Coxsackie, I like #32. Black shoes were a good call. I've found with a suit that's a similar shade of grey that it works with a wide range of shoe colors, which allows for a lot of play in terms of formality.

Indeed! GQ and J.Crew are working very hard to ruin gingham for the rest of us. I'm hoping the 3.5" tie (as opposed to the GQ approved 2") saves me from getting too much flack.

Definitely not a bad look. I tend to find myself shying away from gingham with ties. They're fine tie-less in my opinion.

I think it is a breathe of fresh air... sometimes I miss seeing more up-to-date fits
