Monday, and the debut of a new pair of shoes - my first Carminas.

Suit - New & Lingwood
Shirt - The Shirt Store, NYC
Tie & braces - BB
Cufflinks - The Custom Shop, NYC
PS - no name brand
Shoes - Carmina
Overcoat - Joseph Abboud
Scarf - RLPL
Cap - Christy's, via Thomas Farthing, London

Also, having ventured to the sale at Paul Stuart, I came across the item shown below. As it happened, it was the last one they had in the store, and it was marked down, and as it fit perfectly, I bought it. Now to figure out when to wear it . . .

Love the suit. Original but subtle at the same time. Green suits and sc:s in that kind of green colour can sometimes feel a little too "peasoupy" in the nuance, but not so here. Maybe it's the blue check that balances the colours. Very nice.

That jacket is beautiful. I repeatedly find myself drooling over your wardrobe. You have excellent taste in fabrics.

@upr_crust great find on the tux. It is gorgeous.

What I wore Saturday:

Inside and out on a very murky December day - but extremely mild, with no real need for the topcoat:

Right!? I've been drooling over donnegal and heathered navy jackets all season.

A few blocks from the sea on the Washington Blvd bridge over the Grand Canal in Venice on a warm and sunny (around 80F) December day (it's colder at night).

Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece silk jacket, blue PPBD shirt, and tie, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Orvis trousers, and Allen-Edmonds snuff suede Neumoks.....

Still needs some tweaking but very happy with this suit. Thanks, Syc!
