A month or two ago @SYCSYC posted a pic of him wearing a suit with what in my mind was the perfect mid gray fabric. He was kind enough to guide me to the exact suit from Suitsupply. There's no store here in Nashville but I happened to be traveling to NYC last month so I made a stop to check it out. Had to purchase, and promised Syc that I'd post a pic when I wore it.
Still needs some tweaking but very happy with this suit. Thanks, Syc!
That looks fantastic. I have a question: Is it odd that I alter/shorten the suit sleeve more (the one wearing the the wrist-watch) than the other arm without the watch, in order to give an illusion of balanced cuffs on both sides and not have one arm's shirt cuff hiding?
Also in this photo, would others think duke's suit jacket ends at the right length? It looks like the jacket is a bit on the short side but then you look at it again and it actually makes sense due to Duke's long legs and tall proportions.
Thanks @md2010 They're C&J Eaton loafers. I agree with you about the contrast. This shirt would be better if the suit was more of a caramel colour rather than chocolate.
Today, I am layering up a rather formal blue pinstripe suit. Not sure if it dresses it down a lot. Anyway, I thought that looked good.
Plus, new shoes by Meermin on their first outing.
It looks good in my opinion, even if this suit is certainly in the "extra slim fit" shape for you
