Celebrating Christmas at work today, hence the cardinalred socks. No wine in the lottery this year either...

I don't know how you do it! Whenever I am "dressed up", I navigate consciously around the house specifically to avoid my dog and 2 cats! If I need to pet them, I stretch my arm all the way to reach 'em, to make sure my body isn't in stray hair's reach. But if I don't have to, or feel the need to, pet 'em, all the better.

I am a terrible pet owner!

In my defence, all three are my wife's. I probably wouldn't have pets on my own; way too much responsibilities. Okay, maybe except cats.

Lint rollers everywhere.

Right! Good thing Costco (locally, at least) sells them in pack of 6!

Speaking of, anyone use garment brushes instead of lint rollers to get stuff off clothes? I was eyeing the hanger project's brushes (I've been buying stuff left and right from them) and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts.

I used to scoff at people claiming that lint rollers were bad for clothes (seemed overly fussy), but I've actually seen them leave small amounts of glue residue on clothes. So, nowadays I only use rollers on clothes I don't care as much about. Brushes are so much better, they get most of the stuff out that's managed to mingle with the fibers of your clothes (in my case dog hair).

Never thought about it this way!

Only use a good brush, after every wear.
