First SF post ever.

This is what I'm wearing. It's a bit chilly in Toronto.

Coat: Harrison Tweed

@Claghorn has from time to time executed brown on brown (viz tone-on-tone) well before, but it is an advanced look and not generally advisable, especially if they look exactly the same shade. Try to find more dissimilarity between the tie and jacket, not necessarily high contrast, but at least avoiding complete monotonality.

Thankful for all those who take the time and trouble to post pictures of themselves, but wish that someone would eat all the turkeys who never post pictures of themselves but make bizarre comments about those who do post pictures of themselves.

Being seasonal, up on the rooftop (like Santa Claus) of the mall (on the busiest shopping day of the year).  If none of the other buildings were there, you could see my house, in the middle of my street, somewhere off to the left in the picture.

Brooks Brothers camel hair jacket, yellow and white University stripe OCBD shirt, and tie, Polo Ralph Lauren sweater vest, generic pocket square, Orvis tartan trousers, and Allen-Edmonds khaki grain McTavishes......

.......for those unfamilar with the area, here's a map. For the last twenty years I have lived just south of Celebrities, between Botoxed Cougars in Luxury Condos and Yuppies, although I spent the first fifty years of my life living in Rich Old People (which is somewhere off to the right in the picture).

Being territorial on the Ground Floor of the mall, as well as being the first person (that I know of) to post a picture wearing Cabot Fair Isle socks in this group.

It's been a week of highs and lows for me. This one a high!

I completed my year as Captain of the Club last night, very emotional night with the Duchess and Flower Garden in attendance along with 200 fellow members sending me off. Here I am with my friend Ian (Chairman of the Club) after my photograph was added to the Past Captain's honour wall for eternity. Very proud.

WTG, @Cleav! Very impressive!

And now, lifestyle mixed with a burgeoning Christmas tradition for my tiny nuclear family.

Yes mate, Ian is wearing one too. In the photo itself I'm wearing my Captain's tie which has been retired and now replaced by the Club's Past Captains tie!
