Last night was atrocious. I can't even try to remotely understand what makes a human been do something like that. They try to spread fear in our hearts by shocking our core, our daily routines and day-to-day life, so I we shall keep on keeping on not just to show them they won't put us down so easily but also to pay tribute to those who lost their life (or well being) because of them... if we give in, it would be a slap in their face.

That said, super fit today. The tie throws me bit but it is 3:08 am over here and everything could throw me a bit anyways LOL

Is that your saturday "office"? Really cool if it is.

From earlier this week; a day when it got into the high 80s (as opposed to Friday, when the highs were in the low 60s). Linen in November (which would be odd if anyone I see cared. And for those of you who care about seasonality over temperature, I was visiting @Coxsackie)

Nice tie, Clags. @sugarbutch is going to love it. Just you see.

Looking at this pic, I just realised that you could give @patrickBOOTH a run for his money in the Tonsorial Stakes.

On of your best fits by the way. The suit doesn't look like SuSu. 3-piece with peak lapels and 3-roll-2 buttoning is an unusual combo.

Thanks.  I was in Little Rock, Arkansas, which had beautiful fall weather.

Arkansas is gorgeous this time of year, particularly Northwest. If you can head up that way into the Ozarks a bit while you are down there, I recommend it. There's a little state park up there called Petit Jean, and it is amazing. Great hiking trails, beautiful old growth forests, and the leaves are changing right now.

Is that suit gray or blue? Do you have a plain navy tie or black? What do you mean by "official" dinner?

Alright. My first post on this thread. Tell me what I did right/wrong. I know my suit sleeves are too long, but what else do you see?

Suit: Jos. A. Bank

Shirt: Brooks

Tie: Julian

Shoes: Alden 974

Welcome to WAYWRN shoelover!

I'm looking at a way too small screen here, but besides the sleeve length I noticed these issues:

- trousers need to be hemmed. Even if you like a full break, these are too long.
- shoulders seem a bit wide.
- lapels are bowing out from you chest. In my experience, this is often due to jacket being a bit tight, or the button stance being a bit high (ask your tailor).
- collar points on the shirt could be longer, so they hide under the lapels of your jacket.
- tie knot has two dimples. I think it could look cleaner if you re-tied it with a centered dimple.

With this said, I think this suit could probably look decent if you just take it to a tailor and get some things fixed.

Welcome to the forum Shoelover!
Good first start, I really like the suit colour, and the fit isn`t bad for off the rack. I would shorten the sleeves as well as the trousers, and maybe have them slimmed a bit, (not enough to make you top heavy). The shoes are gorgeous though,
Great combo with the tie and shirt! (Maybe a white pocket square but not everyone is into that). We have similar colouring so I would maybe suggest a blue shirt instead to be less stark on your skin tone. Good first attempt.

@tallawalana. I like the first look with the green/blue/white stripe tie. The tie in second look is too narrow.

How official is official? If stuffy official, go with plain white pocket square imo
