Thank you. This was a Beethoven photobomb that I posted on social media. Sorry, I don't have a full view. I've posted this coat and trousers in the past. It is a discontinued SuSu Havana.

A slightly chillier end to the week (after several days in the 70s F). Donegal and flannel, yay!

......and now back to our regularly scheduled programming:

Thanks once again to everyone who posts pictures of themselves, particularly to those who post pictures taken in the outside world.

At a grocery store, Polo Ralph Lauren tweed jacket and Fair Isle sweater vest, Brooks Brothers yellow and white University stripe OCBD shirt, Berkley heraldic tie, Jim Thompson pocket square, ancient (but they were new when I got them) Hebden Cord (45% wool 55% terylene made in Yorkshire) cavalry twill trousers, and Allen-Edmonds snuff suede Neumoks.......

#24. For those who are interested (i.e. nobody), last night we had a guest over for home-cooked dinner.

Entrée: filei calabresi (a type of rolled stick pasta) with duck ragù

Main: Moroccan spiced lamb served with roast vegetable couscous and a tossed salad.

No pics, sorry. However, TIWIWY.

@shoelover you're killin' it!!!

Btw, saw the new James Bond movie, Spectre. Are we not matching belts to shoes anymore? Last year I looked all over the world for an olive green suede belt to match my Gravati shoes. Who knew

At a nice party. I was not overdressed. A few people actually were in black tie. Others just suits. I was the only person in windowpane. Nobody commented.

You don't have a plain white shirt?

Oh yeah, that's true. But it wasn't quite as fun (I went with it first). I was thinking more of the tie.

It occurs to me that I have a navy flannel peak lapel suit that would have been more appropriate for the event.

But I think they're probably more similar than different in terms of fit.

If you need any encouragement, I would enjoy and learn a lot from such a self analysis of fit.
