Of all of your (excellent) Formosa stuff, I think this jacket fits you best.  Shoulders are perfection.

We must be living in parallel universes @Cleav, maybe quite not in sync; for tomorrow I have prepared my DB grey suit. And If Thor and Odin know how to restrain themselves,I might even manage to take (grained) photos. Never can take anything for granted this part of the year.

GAH. Those bit loafers, bruh...

Murl, I am relieved to know that. I would have had to be quite upset with a certain young entrepreneur. :)

My favorite of all the nice stuff you show us every day: if some day you think of selling this, keep me posted ;-)

Agreed. Jacket is totally killer.

It's always nice to see all the pictures that others post of themselves.  Thanks again for posting your pictures and thanks again to everyone who likes my pictures.

Still warm here, but it's finally gone down from being around 100F every day to being around 80F every day.  One of my friend's friends told her that Uniqlo had reduced ribbon belts from US$12.90 to US$5.90, so she wanted to go to Uniqlo and look at the ribbon belts.  When we got to Uniqlo, the ribbon belts had been further reduced to US$1.90, so my friend bought a bag full of ribbon belts and I bought one.

On our way to Uniqlo, we stopped at Joan's On Third for lunch.  Here I am, before ordering, standing next to a statue of a pig (my Chinese zodiac sign).

Brooks Brothers jacket and yellow and white University stripe OCBD shirt, Martin Dingman tie (that's impossible to tie so that the dogs show on both ends of the tie), Hermes pocket square (that's sticking up too much because my friend, who once worked for T&C and later WWD and who then dressed film and TV performers for many years, kept pulling it up because she thought that it looked better that way), Orvis cord trousers, Vineyard Vines belt with embroidered pheasants  (possibly the first appearance of a Vineyard Vines belt in this thread), and Allen Edwards MTO Horween English Tan Dublin Leather McGillicuddys........

....and since someone always asks what I had to eat, I had my usual, a Maple Roasted Chicken Sandwich.

Neat pattern of pocket square is also at odds with outfit. Belongs with a suit.

Shirt collar is blegh. Too straight to look at home with a tweed jacket. Too soft and rumpled to look good otherwise. All around bad.

Jacket looks a little tight. Too much tension around your mid-section. Uncomfortable to look at, if not uncomfortable to wear. Doing bad things to your lapel roll also.

Jacket sleeves are swallowing your shirt cuffs or your shirt sleeves are too short.

Hate flap pockets on tweed odd jackets, but that is one of the lesser offenses here.

On my monitor, the blue doesn't look purplish at all. I'd say it's an acceptable shade here, though I'd have preferred a somewhat less pale blue.

Agreed on the PS.

Shirt collar... well, I believe SB doesn't like button downs. What would you prefer then, a more pointy collar? If his spread collar were less soft and rumply, it would be even less at home with a tweed jacket. So considering the circumstances, it's not bad I'd say.

Jacket doesn't look tight at all. The style of the lapels suggest they didn't have much of a roll to begin with and he's standing with his hand in his pocket. Which, as has been pointed out, is a flapped patch pocket.

There is a sliver of shirt sleeve showing, which is just right. We've gotten used to seeing lots of shirt cuff sticking out, but not so long ago that #menswear quirk would have been frowned upon just as much as on wearing no socks.

@SYCSYC your outfits have improved a lot lately, well done! And now that you've left the pointy shoes behind, it's time for the next step: get yourself some better looking cufflinks (or barrel cuffed shirts). :nodding:

@Roycru you always pose with these enormous plates of food in front of you, yet you are in good shape. What's your secret?

Congrats on the new shoes - wear them in good health, and they seem to have met with approval, at least in these fora. If I influenced you to buy them, I would consider that a compliment.

Congrats also on the new shirt and tie.
