I'm no expert but this seems like the perfect arena for a wool or cashmere square. The white cotton almost feels too CBD to me.

That first pic is not very flattering. It makes your legs look rather short. it may be the camera angle or the length of the jacket. I like the colors and patterns otherwise.

Any suggestions? Pic taken from about 4 feet away at head / chest level.

Somebody probably already said this, but either pull up, or have the pants taken up. They are pooling a bit at your ankles and it's making you/your legs seem shorter than they are. I don't think they need it, but it's hard to tell, so when they aren't pooling, you might think about tapering them if they need it.

No offense taken, just not getting the reference.

Was just going to say that; or, black tassels.

Sunday in style, @zr3rs!

Lovely color composition, @DonCologne. However, i think going for a less structured look (especially in the shoulders) would do you good. From my pov, this type of shoulder construction makes you look too square-ish. Does that make any sense?

Nice glencheck suit and tie, @Cao Cao

Today this summer suit by lbm1911. Thanks Australian members for the shirt suggestion.

Anyone who thinks "the old days" were better on SF should check the last 24 hours' worth of fits. Some exceptional stuff, and a very high standard overall.

@Cao Cao, please have your tailor take up those jacket sleeves about 1-2cm so you can show some shirt cuff.

@md2010, try enlarging your photos by selecting the "large" option in the final dialog box. Or click the "source" button in the edit-window's top menu bar, look for the photo dimensions, and alter the width to 500 or 600dpi.

@Dennis Walter, when you spoiler other people's quoted fits, select the entire block and then spoiler it, rather than selecting photos and spoilering them frame-by-frame.

I love you all and learn from you all.

Unexpectedly working away from the office today so decided on a more casual look. It's still a novelty being out of uniform as I've just started a new job. I'm still learning about the world of CM but enjoying it immensely. Thanks for the thumbs so far. It's nice to get some encouragement when starting out and when in such esteemed company. Some of the fits recently have been fantastic. Happy Monday everyone.

Starting Monday with a sartorial bang - cooler weather and a suit rotation of three-piece suits have that effect. CBD in this case doesn't mean "conservative business dress", it means "City Banker Drag".

Suit - RLPL
Shirt - Hilditch & Key
Tie - Charvet
Cufflinks - Deakin & Francis, via DeNatale, NYC
Vintage watch chain
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's NYC
Topcoat - JAB
Scarf - Paul Stuart
Hat - Selentino, via JJ Hat Center

yep, a little.  Puffed silk's more natural look.
