Talk to me about closed fronts? I think I know what you mean, but I'm not familiar with the term. Are we referring to the quarters?

In Italy I had a goal—find the Neapolitan equivalent of T.M. Lewin. Ain't nobody got time for $250 shirts, no matter how much I wish I could exclusively buy them (Eidos, G. Inglese, whatever).

I found it! Gutteridge. Only bought one shirt. Here it is. As expected for €39, it's not the greatest quality. But it's the style I was after, and for that, I love it. It's end-on-end.

Also, wearing a tie with denim (gasp). Labels are Eidos (jacket), Gutteridge (shirt), J.Crew (tie), Rugby RL (jeans), AE for Polo (shoes).

@NewYorkIslander

I am legitimately impressed. I'm doing a slow clap right now.

Thanks @Claghorn, that means a lot coming from you! If anyone is interested, please check out our affiliate thread in my signature. We're currently previewing our new pricing structure (starting at $109 now instead of $150) that will go public next week. There's a code available so SF can get first crack at stuff (a couple already are sold out) so if anyone is on the fence, please take a look! We're pretty proud of what we do.

I picked up four ties and a pocket square from Gutteridge when I was in Italy a few years ago.  I really liked their stuff.  As you mentioned great price point.

As always, thanks to all of those who post pictures of themselves and to those who like my pictures.

CBD (American Style) and veneer brick (the only kind of brick that's safe and legal in California) near the end of another day (although I still have one more meeting to go to), Brooks Brothers (Marks & Sparks era) navy blue chalk stripe suit, blue PPBD shirt, and repp tie, Squarextraordinaire blue pocket square, and Allen-Edmonds for Brooks Brothers black Strands......

......and for those who don't have a big enough screen to see the chalk stripes, here they are up close.

Yes Gutteridge is like the Brooks Brothers of Italy...they are all over the place too in the cities. They offer inexpensive but typically soft Italian garments.

From today, wanted to try this combo and yesterday.

Hey Betel, it's been a long time! Nice shirt collar and tie combo in look # 1, gets my vote! Although I love the beefy Suit Supply lapels of look # 2!

Yes, same same. Do you agree that today's jacket deemphasizes your hips relative to the jackets with more open fronts?

Another thought: Does your work allow you to wear a suit instead of odd jackets? A suit might have a similar effect.
