@DonCologne as a recruiter, in my opinion this may be a bit too bold if you are the one that gets interviewed

Obviously @DonCologne is applying for the position 'The Boss'.

True. I would validate this as "power suit" :nodding:

Quick and dirty pic of today's fit, mainly to show off the new jacket, courtesy of @Todd V (and @razl's fine work on the B&S: someone should buy this thread). It's one of those Epaulet factory finds fabrics, the Pale Danube Marl from Southwick. Fits perfectly and it's has a lovely drape. Worn with a BBBF fine navy stripe BD (the weak link today), double-sided moss green / navy  raw silk bow tie, Post-Imperial PS, navy wool vest, mid-light grey flannels and (unseen) tan brogues.

Looking good.

Nice combo @sugarbutch I really like that jacket and tie.

@Braddock what a beautiful tie! And those shoes...

@Koala-T  seems like a good choice but can't see it properly.

@Dennis Walter great looking suit. The only "but" is the way the tie sticks out of one side of the jacket but other than that, very nice.

@DonCologne very nice suit! Good luck! Hope you got the job.

Do you think, that you need for every sector the same cloth for a job interview? So I have no need to find a job quick and I wear the cloth, I want to wear. If it´s a problem for the recruiter, it´s not the right job for me.

In the interview I asked, what kind of cloth were prefered for the job. And the answer was, that it could be both suit and combination and that the outfit could be a little bit bolder.

I agree with you on having a job that let you dress as you want to: see my own outfits on this point.

When I said a little too bold, I meant I would rather have gone with a solid blue DB and more classical socks / PS, for example.

But please, keep doing as you like: I personnaly prefer to see you wearing your usual inspiring fits on SF :)

I may have my tailor reduce the shoulders a bit.  Thanks.  I love this waistcoat.

@sugarbutch I like all of that.  That jacket is the best.
