Friday.  Herringbone, guncheck, and cable knit.  Are the colors too muddy?

^ @Ds13, I think I have a month old JPTilford/Samuelsohn in what looks like the exact same Loro Piana(?) fabric and am looking forward to pairing it with a brown tie (Dark Chocolate gren fina in my Hober cart, along with a few others). If you could wear that jacket while juggling or riding a tricycle or something in a future WAYWRN fit pic it'd really help me out the next time there's a DTO Friday Challenge. :thumbs-up:

The photo is a bit deceptive.  Actually it’s a military hem which comes down just to the top of the heel, the traditional length for such things.  In the photo it dips below that only because I’m not standing up straight.

I like the width at the bottom to be such that (again, when standing up straight) it covers ca. 2/3 of the shoe.  Yes, it’s old-fashioned, but hey, I gotta be me.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

Alright, got i now - there´s nothing wrong with being old-fashioned, style-wise (at least most of the times, @Academic2).

I think i would have paired it with another tie - the one you chose somehow gets lost due to the rather pale colour (in comparison to the chunky knit). I think a dark brown woolen herringbone would have been nice.

Today´s fit:

Like each piece, but too many pattern today. Stripe shirt + stripe suit is not always easy but if you add a tie with a small pattern on the bengal shirt it's really difficult for the eye to catch something.

Saturday.  What do you think of the shoulders on this jacket.  The jacket is only quarter lined, but I think there's too much shoulder padding.  Come on Polo.

But i don't think it's crippling. I realy like your blackwatch waistcoat, i never thought it could work with this kind of outfit, but it's work pretty well.
