That was the first thing anyone ever said about me almost 30 years ago (seriously). First words of the doctor were "he's got dimples." He was referring to my cheeks of course. The neckties weren't coming for several months yet.

Ah, so it is true what they say about men with large feet?

Can we use that story for marketing?

@Chulillo nice style but that jacket is at least one size too small, I'm afraid.

To be honest, I usually like to be on the tighter side of dressing when I wear my casual everyday clothes. Whenever I dress up I try not but I've grown since I have it but I still don't find it uncomfortable enough not to wear it. In fact, it closes fine even with the waistcoat  and I don't notice any particular tightness on shoulders which is my main problem usually, so, for now, I will (have to) keep using it.

It is a bit weird because I have at least three Washington jackets from SuSu and not one is the same real size than the others... one has longer sleeves, another much shorter ones (this one in particular), others are longer on the thighs (sorry, don't know the name in English for that part of a jacket)... etc... and they are all the same (number) size. That kind of bugs me a little... I haven't altered any of them, they are all just like that OTR, I haven't had anyone fix them for me (yet).

@Academic2, love the high-waisted trousers, jacket and tie combination. Might have slimmed down the leg a bit while shortening it. Personal preference only...

Many thanks.  You’re very kind.

The photo is a bit deceptive.  Actually it’s a military hem which comes down just to the top of the heel, the traditional length for such things.  In the photo it dips below that only because I’m not standing up straight.

I like the width at the bottom to be such that (again, when standing up straight) it covers ca. 2/3 of the shoe.  Yes, it’s old-fashioned, but hey, I gotta be me.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

Ac

By the way, I'm really impressed at the extent to which @Claghorn has expanded his collection of chairs over just the last few pages.  What used to be a single thing is now a whole genre ...

Cheers,

Ac  :)
