Shetland rules! They have the finest knitwear and the most tender colours.

I bought me a sweater in Lerwick, and I will certainly buy more.

The trousers are size 46 where I use to buy size 44 (which I need to widen at the waist), because I wanted to see if they would fit better.
I may have it tailored a little closer to the leg.

Talking about the jacket too, thought "extra fabric" probably wasn't a very good way of putting it. Is the grey here also SuSu? Lazio? Are they the same size?

I know everyone gave you the "go softer shoulder" feedback, but perhaps completely unstructured in the shoulders and body isn't working quite as well for you? Maybe it's subjective here, but the grey looks clean and well-fitted to me while the blue seems bumpy/rumply all over and less-fitted in the body.

Keep calm and wear POW

There is a lot of POW lovin' on SF today, so I feel kind of obligated to contribute despite crappy pics

You got quite the eye for SuSu suits.

I have posted pics of fits with this navy havana that look better I think, but it's a thin tissue and it doesn't drape very well sometimes.

The one above is a havana cut too and doesn't look the same.

That being said, I agree with you: the Lazio looks better on me. They are great if you want something more formal but with lightly padded shoulders.

I think I'll buy more of these.

It's very nice. So is the suit. But the novelty cufflinks are awful. I hope you are only wearing them because someone you love gave them to you.

The wide end of the tie should be longer than the narrow one.

Because it features (1) several patterns; and (2) several bold colours with no obvious correlation to each other - until you look closer.

The patterns work together because of differential scaling, and the colours are subtly repeated. But it's daring. I thought it was a great fit - next-level even - but it didn't get that many thumbs. So maybe others found it all a bit too challenging.

Yes, except that this is a bit of a "look" these days, championed especially by the Armoury and BnT guys, and works quite well on the slim Asian frame. Call it sprezz. Call it FU. It's a thing.
