Well done for keeping on regardless of the fall.

Love the jacket - had a similar one years ago and never caught a chill!

I think Cox's shirt and tie work quite nicely with the suit.

The tie and shirt are not my cup of tea, but I still like this.

Excellent look as well, but I assume that went without saying.

Thanks! I'm 180cm, er, maybe 179cm these days, haven't checked recently. That suit is a 50R, and it is a 3-roll-2 with the top button undone - hence the impression of a low button stance.

I tried on a few Formosas at NMWA and mostly they didn't fit me that well. They must have several different "blocks", or maybe it's just the way the fabric affects the draping of the jacket. I'm really glad Greg pulled this linen number out for me to try - the minute I popped it on, I knew I had to have it.

Most unusual. I like it.

Oh, and thanks to everybody for the very generous thumbs.

I agree - this is some next level stuff, reminiscent of posters past, particularly TTO.

Here it's cool enough to get a tweed 3-piece out for the first time this year. This one is J-Press, a bargain straight from ebay, and it fits me perfectly without a single alteration to either pants or jacket - even the trouser cuffs are exactly the height I like - how awesome it that? I have no idea how old it is, but has the old Amalgamated garment workers label inside the interior pocket - and it is in A1 condition. Next time I wear it, I'll actually try to make sure I take a decent picture... (tie is PRL, shirt is BBGF, and it's worn with - unseen - brown captoe brogues)

Eh, it's not just the appearance. Formosa has a lower button stance than most 3r2 RTW that you'll find. I think it's just about perfect and it looks great on you.

This. Taking your height into account, I think a 50 in SF might actually be the ticket (from a jacket perspective) for me...with perhaps an even lower buttoning point!

*insert fiendish laughter*

In all seriousness, though, it does look to be perfect on you. Excellent stuff.

A wise choice if ever there was one!

Show me the shirt and tie by themselves and I'd say they were awful but he puts it together and wears them like he was born in them! Nothing seems forced or awkward.
