This is why he was good at trolling. An excellent troll, worthy of appreciation, will not care if others are aware that he is trolling. Skilled trolly are subtle and walk within a haze of ambiguity.

He was certainly taking the piss. But at the same time I think there was a serious sub-text.

Dimples are most definitely not CBD. Or at least, not UCBD. The latter is about conformity, pure and simple. Anything that could possibly draw attention to the clothes is verboten. No pocket square. No dimple. No broguing. No patterns. Just plain blocks in sombre colours, combined with a clean-shaven face and the most conservative haircut possible.

Ghastly, when you think about it.

Not a 100% sold on the beard, but imho these are your best fitting pants, @Koala-T! They´re slimming down your legs quite noticeably without broadening your hips - maybe these should be the reference for any future pants operations...

What he said ;-)

Anyhow gentlemen, it is a pleasure to be back from the cave and lurking around in these lands. I delightedly chose the red brick wall to feature as background today...

Yes, I'm always wearing braces, since they're more comfortable and trousers drape better with braces. I do only wear belts with jeans.

As an exception, I had some bistecca all fiorentina yesterday.

If so, why is that jacket not being stretched as a result?

Come on! I haven't been there alone, I've been there with a girl. I wouldn't order a salad.

The day after the night before - dinner last night was at 11 Madison Park, which was lengthy and lavish, and complete with a celebrity sighting - Jimmy Fallon was dining about 15 feet away from us.

For today, however, back to the grind.

Suit - BBGF Regent
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - Damiano Presta, Roma
Cufflinks - Simon Carter, via Fortnum & Mason, London
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's NYC

Ah, good man! And fortunately your girl doesn't only eat a salad. :)
