And, I do find this jacket difficult to pair with ties and squares (but that is part of the fun cause i get to play around and see what works). Let me know what you think...and in particular if you have tie/square ideas.

How about a dark brown knit or gren grossa? Or wine. And a simply patterned dark square?

Good suggestions.

@PCK1 I love that jacket and those trousers and shoes look great.  I agree with you about the shirt.

@PCK1 brown trousers work very well indeed. If anything, the shirt collar seems a bit small.
Tie wise, how about a green challis? I'd ditch the hank if I were you, the gunclub pattern is too busy for that.

That tie is a green challis...but it is a pretty dark/forest green. perhaps a lighter green like a moss would be better. In theory I agree with you about the hank and the busyness...but I keep wanting to try and find something that works...

Wine/burgundy grenadine definitely works as I've worn that one pretty frequently with the jacket. I have yet to try brown but will give it a shot next time.

Fit looks fantastic and I'm very glad you like it, but even with a suit this nice, I still just don't like how Solaro looks. Personal preference, I guess.

Don't think anybody would blame you for that @flyingmonkey...not going to work for everyone's tastes.

@pck1 are those shoes Spigola?

Not clear on the accepted order, is the shirt Boss and the tie Epaulet or vice versa? Either way is the color accurate on the tie? Looks great.

The one thing I will add about the gunclub...because of the nature of the pattern and also the colors...I feel like most of the time it is best worn without a tie...it just looks great every time without a tie...

Maybe thats just how it should be with this particular cloth...

I feel like $30 of tailoring could really improve the back of this coat (which already has a lot going for it).

Hope everyone is having a good time.

@PCK1 I think the shirt fabric is as much an issue as the shirt collar – is that one of those shirts that aren't oxford cloth I keep hearing about? :tinfoil:

I wore that with gray flannels and mid-brown grain leather longwing gunboats.

From earlier this week.

Luxire, Wang x 2 (and green tie + green jacket and supposedly olive shirt).

^ I like it, Clags.

What colour are your trousers (I'm assuming that you're wearing a pair of trousers!)?

Same as the jacket.
