Really?  My pants from yesterday were 7.5" at the bottom.  That's my norm.  These are 8".

I could barely contain my excitement at stepping in puke and being pestered by a giant weird sex baby

Though the Lynch thing was pretty awesome.  A shelf in my house:

Without wanting to sound like a total jackass, I think that would go much further in cutting a masculine silhouette than any sort of adjustments to a given outfit...

Yes, it would, but don't let that stop you!

Many thanks once again to everyone who posts pictures of themselves and to those who like my pictures.

Some might remember recently that there were several posts about how to eat pizza and that I was amongst those who used my fingers to eat pizza.  Today I ate a Black Truffle Pizetta with my fingers (without dripping anything on myself).  As I do not believe in astrology, I don't think that I like truffles just because my Chinese zodiac sign is a pig.  My friend and I are not wine snobs.  We drink champagne with everything.  Today we had Ruinart Rose.....

......and after drinking a few glasses of champagne, I was still able to balance myself in a birdcage chair.  Those who recall the recent posts about Allen-Edmonds walnut Strands might notice that I am wearing Allen-Edmonds walnut Strands, but they may not look as walnutty as some other poster's Walnut Strands because I use Allen-Edmonds Light Brown shoe cream on them.

Brooks Brothers Italian Era Golden Fleece (Made In Italy) silk jacket, ecru PPBD shirt, and repp tie, generic pocket square, Orvis trousers, Gold Toe argyle socks, and Allen-Edmonds walnut Strands......

...there have also been some recent posts about things being too "matchy-matchy".  My friend's alligator watch strap matched my alligator belt, but when I tried to take a pictures, she wanted her watch, rather than her watch strap to show in the picture, so she wouldn't turn her wrist far enough to show her watch strap better.  Some might also be able to see my watch chain hooked to my pocket watch in the watch pocket in my trousers.

Thank you.  I love everyone who posts pictures of themselves.

I also wonder about those who have made hundreds, or thousands, or even tens of thousands of posts making bizarre comments about what the people who have posted pictures of themselves are wearing without ever posting a picture of themselves.  I wonder why they imagine that anyone might be remotely interested in their bizarre comments.

Just spitballing. I think creating a more optimal silhouette (one in which a drop is somewhat pronounced...if I recall yours was about 1" or so) would serve you far better than a more billowing trouser leg.

Of course, take it for what you will. I know far more about physical fitness than I do proper tailoring techniques, so maybe the prescriptions provided by fellow posters would achieve the desired effect.

Yeah, it's just that I never, ever, not once, ever thought about losing weight. Good thing you brought it up. I woulda been stuck out on fatass island for the rest of my life.

Are you talking about that new bone-shrinking diet?

You're walnutty. biggrin.gif But it's true, yours do look less so.

In admiration of your pictures and your prose, if I ever win a Friday Challenge, and no one else has done it first, I will do an "emulate Roycru" challenge.
