Excellently put together.

But, in my opinion, with your height and the open quarters of your SC...you would look even better with a trouser with a higher rise. The low rise of this trouser juxtaposed with your height and SC does nothing but detract from the overall composition.

A well made trouser that sits at your natural waistline would propel your fit from excellent to iconic!

As my attire today is hardly controversial, I can only assume that your exclamation is due to my choice of Youtube offering, which was proffered in the same spirit of tongue-in-cheek as is your expression of "tut-tut".

My character is generally out of character (so far I've had avatars depicting Cthulhu, graphics from a Joy Division album, myself as a rocket ship, George Costanza with a three point light saber et c). I do love expressionist art, but I'll change it again, just for you. smile.gif

If you take requests, Klimt would be nice, and a close neighbor, as it were, to your current avatar.

Cheers,

Ac :)

Tamara de Lempicka is good enough for avatar purposes . . .

Costanza with a lightsaber, Joy Division – that's totally you! Cthulhu, well... maybe a little less, but still. And thanks!

That is outstanding, Murl. Tailored to perfection.

I miss my Orwell avatars, but I don't think I'm done with this one yet. When I am, I'll probably go back to Orwell.

I miss gdl's stormtrooper avatar. Probably my favorite. Trying to think of any others that really stand out in my mind.

Murl, that's fantastic. Pants look great

But change your avatar.
---

Seajen, also very nice. Those pants the mini-herringbone from S&M? Rise seems a little inadequate though.

Is that a Tamara Lempicka picture? Cool... like her style.

@Murlsquirl great fit but quick question... having the bottom half of the jacket styled that way seems to me like makes you appear to have huge shoulders and very narrow hips... is that something you were looking for? I always to try to balance both, top and bottom parts of an outfit because I have very broad shoulders already and adding more mass to them or taking  from the hips-upper thighs makes me feel like I am shaped like an inverted triangle.

@SeaJen excellent fit!

I miss your cigar-smoking Jack D. Ripper, but that goes back quite some time.

Cheers,

Ac

Oh yeah. That one was fantastic. Back when clapeyron and I were riffing off each other's avatars.

I would like to change my avatar sometimes, but I don't want to sacrifice all my brand equity.

Yup! Yes, I really like her as well. I think her paintings would be pretty SF approved as well.
