HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) - Page 1797

Dammit, Justin, you're wearing today what I'm planning to wear tomorrow (and doing it well).  I'll have to get creative.

No tie because I'm off to class, and my classmates dress like savages.

Yeah I don't have much yellow either. It's a color that can be so awesome but only in a narrow, unsaturated band, like pink and really only in extreme moderation.

Thanks. The food is excellent, but a little expnensive. Reservations aren't hard to get, but they won't let you through the door if you don't have one (kind of rude if you ask me). Call in advance.

From Tuesday.  I like the color of the tie, but not the texture.  I've been looking for a better tie in a darker purple.  Shirt is green/white houndstooth.

Indeed! They should at least let you into the lobby before pitching your ass back onto the sidewalk. Can you get a cocktail at the bar without a res, do you know?

Love the tie - where did you get it from?

I'm 99% sure that you can't.  Such an odd policy.

How would changing one pastel colour for another be an improvement here? Any attempt at subtlety would be a wasted effort with that tie. It's a shame, because that suit is gorgeous.

A washed out/muted pink goes much more with the blue of the tie and the brown of the suit than neon turquoise blue.

If you picture a very soft shade of pink in your head you will see that it works.

Today's Claghorn-inspired fit merits a Claghorn-inspired torso shot:

Weird square sprezz happening. Also, focal point sprezz on first picture.

Thanks gents. It's been collecting dust and the first sign of it being cold it had to come out.

Wednesday.  I wanted to wear my camel hair sport coat, but it was too warm.  :(

That's the AAS vibe I really like--classic combinations done louder and with more flair than most would risk.
