I don’t think sack suits/jackets are equally flattering on all body types.  (Similarly for three-button jackets with a high top button, of course.)  An Acute Style is slender and fit-looking, and looks tall for his girth.  None of those characteristics scream “sack suit” to me.  I’m in a similar situation myself, by the way—even worse, actually.

Cheers,

Ac

Definitely the shirt sleeves.  I'm ok with the jacket sleeves.  They could be a little bit longer, but definitely not worth the money IMO.

I don't tend to find them when I thrift, but there are slim sack jackets.  I'm thinking about having this one taken in at the waist for a slimmer look.

Definitely much better as a 3-roll-2!

BTW, are you wearing short-sleeve shirts or are your shirt sleeves just too short in both of these pictures?

Long sleeve shirts.  Sleeves too short.  :(

Very nice jacket; shoulders and lapels really work for me (and you, IMO).  The colors are also beautifully subdued for a Madras.  A real winner.

Are you open to suggestion on the bold pants? This seems to be your "thing" so perhaps it's pointless to criticize them, but your odd-jacket combinations with the bright pants almost never work. In this case, you have a very orphaned suit jacket look up top with a rustic brown tie, and then it just a red fest down below.

+1 on 3r2 being better. Add a little waist suppression and you have a very nice jacket. I don't think the lapels are too wide for your body at all, but they might be for your style. But I like wider lapels on you.
