I deduce you had to wear these while in service? Which pair - the top one or the bottom one? :D

I ordered above three suits for my comming wedding, and I like fashion styles, but not really know what's the best for a good suit.

Yeah....I think they sell the second pair in stores with no windows and back door entrances only.

Even if my shirts fit snug at the waist (not button-pulling snug, but close enough to not have extra fabric), I can't seem to achieve a neat tuck. It always end up in a billowy waistline, and I am unsuccessful at the military tuck.

Don't forget to take into account that, while I'm not saying this is the case for either Sander or Braddock, it is quite easy to let excess fabric (even a significant amount) bunch up at the rear, rather than the front of a shirt. This could well result in a clean tuck at the front and a parachute back. I know I've had this experience with unaltered RTW shirts. If you're wearing a jacket, you can usually get away with it, unless the excess fabric at the back is immense.

The same can be done, albeit to a lesser extent, with suspenders.

You probably already know, but the vast majority of the menswear on that show was made by Martin Greenfield.

And it is some good stuff!!  I'd love to have Nucky's closet!

Standard issue in the U.S. military.  They're terrible.

I only wore mine with my dress uniform...I don't see how women put up with all that stuff.

I'd love to flip Nucky's closet and buy things I actually like lol.

Aside from the shoes, most of his wardrobe throughout the show (not to mention the show itself in its later years) didn't really do it for me.

I really dug the fabrics of his suits...he was muted but had these great jewel toned windowpanes and pin stripes... and his contrast collar shirts, albeit with a more modern collar and all those great bow ties!

Let's not forget the boutonniere...wish men would take that up again.
