I have combined the two.  Here I am earlier today out on the hottest day of the year (so far) standing on (California drought colored) grass while wearing a Brooks Brothers blue blazer, blue and white striped PPBD shirt, and black, blue, and white striped repp tie, Land's End blue and white striped seersucker trousers (which are falling down because I continue to lose weight), and Bass white bucs..... Your posts never disappoint.

@rickytt Nice, but trousers a bit too short.

It's the tie space.  As in too much, and the leading edges of the collar r too stiff and don't wrap around the tie as they should ime. Also for me even their 'slim' fit in RTW still billows like a sail under the arms and at the belly.

Truly a man's man.

I try to eschew almost every detail in my clothing possible, and yet Pliny's fits make me want to burn my entire wardrobe and go back to a kind of pared-back asceticism.

Who makes the cloth? Is that a HFW one?

That's Harrison's Moonbeam.  Nice cloth. like a soft tweed, and sweet patterns.

hey @Coxsackie when r u going to post your Bn tailor? or have u?

And the classic H&H shirt is so large that a whole familygathering could use it as tent. But the pattern matching is superb. I have not seen any RTW as it; runs all the wau from cuff to cuff

Ach, the jacket still needed some work and so it had to go back to Korea. Props to Joe for making sure we get it exactly right, but it's been a long wait. I'm back in Sydney around the middle of September and I would hope to take delivery then.
