Basically, it's a kind of bread as I wrote. The toppings are just flavouring. Anyway, when eaten street style, you fold it up.

In Florida, which is kind of America, we have Neopolitan "style" pizza, which like our New York "style" pizza varies depending on what the restaurateurs are trying to entice you with. I personally prefer a thicker pie that doesn't require a knife and fork but if it tastes good and the toppings are going to slide off what are you going to do but knife and fork it up...

I am not trolling Tibor.  I didn't comment on your hat height.  Or how you were eating your pizza. Other posters did that.  I think you look terrific.  In part because this is a well planned, well lit professionally staged photo.  That also makes it a less than genuine one.  Surely you'll acknowledge that you weren't randomly caught, fork and knife in hand with nary a bite of your pizza gone, gazing ahead like a 1930's gangster badass?

Yes, Neapolitan "style" is open to interpretation. I won't bother you telling about the horrors of the Indonesian interpretation of Neapolitan pizza...

Anyway, my bone of contention with @Tibor's was more that he called eating a Neapolitan pizza without knife and fork "uncouth". As opposed to other kinds of pizza and as if a Neapolitan pizza is something more refined. As I said, it is not, It is the most basic kind of food there is. And that makes for the 'incoherence' (in SF speak) in the pic: seeing a man all dressed up eating a pizza as if it were a fine delicacy. Now, if he had a tournedos rosselini or so on his plate, it wouldn't have looked quite so unnatural.

You guys would argue over the proper way to wipe your ass.

Inb4 front to back.

Of course I posed for the picture when I asked the bartender to take a shot showcasing a fine pizza. I thought it would make for a nice picture. Eating this kind of pizza is a delicacy for me given the region of the country I am in. I am very grateful to have it, as I rarely travel outside the country anymore. The only difference between this picture and everyday is that I posed with a beautiful pizza from my favorite restaurant in town.

THE CORRECT PIZZA SEQUENCE IS THIS:

1. LEAVE HAT ON

2. EAT PIZZA WITH TRIDENT.  IF PIZZA IS FROM NAPOLI, IT IS ACCEPTABLE TO EAT THE WHOLE PIZZA IN ONE SWALLOW

3. FIGHT A WOLVERINE

4. IF LADIES ARE PRESENT, DO NOT EAT THE TESTICLES OF THE WOLVERINE YOU HAVE JUST KILLED AT THE BAR.  RETIRE TO THE MEN'S ROOM.  IF YOU ARE SEATED IN THE TABLE AREA, DEVOUR THE TESTICLES BEFORE ALL ASSEMBLED, INCLUDING FEMALES

5. PRAISE WOTAN.  IT IS ACCEPTABLE TO LEAVE ONE'S HAT ON DURING THE CEREMONY

6. WASH HANDS

7. REMOVE HAT

Nice of you to do a service like that for the restaurant you are in.  without being so gauche as to name the establishment of course

I'll eat pizza and damn way I choose. I'm paying for it, it is my choice how I eat it. I could be forceful about it, but let's just say I look with scorn upon any putative rules regarding the consumption of pizza.

The name of the establishment is Isola like the red letters in the picture.
