JK would never wear such a tie! Would he? :paranoia:

I see what you're saying. This was a very first wearing to get a feel for the fabric, straight off the rack with absolutely zero alterations. I may consider tapering, but I don't want too much action on the button. I think the look is quite acceptable, though, not flawless, as is. Would you agree?

In general yes, spread/cutaways are thought to pair better with a full suit as opposed to an odd combo--it's a matter of matching the formality of the shirt to the rest of the outfit. I personally only wear OCBDs with sport coats, but some pull off a spread collar quite well.

Formosa on maiden voyage
Barba
Cappelli
Tyt

Really tough color to photograph. To me it's got a hint of a pale brown with a hint of pink. In the second picture it almost seems grey. I regret my tie choice and think a richer blue tie would have been better.

What is the width of the lapel?

I would call it a bronze. Mine seems goldish/light brown with a hint of grey? The slight sheen throws it off on camera. Third pics color is more accurate

Yea that's how I mostly see it as. I like the variations you get in the color. It's a super unique piece which I love.

These shoes will not get much love here, but I'll give them all the love they need, and if there is eternity I'd love them there again.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

And I need a new photospot, since the white wall burns out all the details.

I think I'd like to see this with a little more variation between the jacket and trousers. At first glance, I thought you were wearing a suit, as I didn't notice the jacket details until I opened the spoiler and saw the closeup.

The pictures of the shoes and of the breast are almost true to RL colours.

Memo to myself: take lessons in photography. Or hire a pro.
