Main reason I don't post fits as much as I would like is because of this. Bad pic quality - poor lighting(don't have an office at work to take pics - 'open floorplan' ) and bad camera (old iphone, once I get the new one I'll post more regularly).

I used to be pretty limited in where I could take pics at home. I observed a couple of other members taking their pics standing by an open window with plenty of natural light. I experimented with this and after a while I think the results were pretty pleasing. That might be something you can look into. As for now, I have a good tripod and a decent camera so pics get taken in various environs.

My girlfriend was thinking about getting a gopro (she can get them for ~30% off), and I was thinking of getting it solely for SF fits. . . and vacation/action shots of course.

I'm sure you can make that work.

Good, even natural light and a willing photographer will make a great deal of difference even for camera phone users.

Of course, better cameras and especially lenses will yield much superior sharpness and color fidelity and reduce distortion, so knock yourself out if you're so inclined.

Navy and shades of purple. And probably my best tie dimple yet.

New suit?

Not really, it's the SuSu Havana I bought approximatively one month ago.

That's pretty new by my estimation! The reason I ask is because I think your fit pics have been looking so good lately. Much better than the fit of some of your earlier suits. Good work!

And a lot of thanks to all of you who gave my outfits lots of thumbs these days

C&J Courtenay. Consequent to a recent incident in Melbourne - a well-loved small menswear retailer decided to liquidate their entire stock of C&J handgrades with discounts of more than 50%. The resulting kop frenzy was referred to on the Aus Members thread as "Handgradegate".

Here are my own two acquisitions in all their glory:

I didn't even notice, my eyes were drawn to the Caesar salad up top.
Seriously @Koala-T, you've been posting a lot lately, but all your fits suffer from poor colour coordination. Adventurous yes, pleasing to the eye, no. Why not start with some basic colour schemes?
In addition to that, your jackets tend to be too short and your trousers rise is often too low, emphasizing your hip area, which is probably not what you aim for.

Well, I'll work on the color thing, but I'm in a bit of a crunch on the hips. Can't get rid of them, and can't wear high rise trousers. My waist is where my waist is. I realize this jacket is short, but other than wearing longer jackets, what are my options?

So, how did you figure out which colors to pair together, and which not to?

And I'm posting here a lot lately, because I'm trying to get better at this (preferably civilly), and more than one person suggested this was a good way to do it.
