Wow, I really like that. I should really focus on more solid jackets this year.

I used to never understand why people bought solid jackets and now I get it. I have a medium green herringbone and medium tan blazer suit on order.

I certainly saw a place for them, but focusing on a pseudo trad/ivy look for so many years I went for patterned jackets more often than not. I'll tell you what I kinda really want, though. A solid mid-weight brown jacket like the one @Murlsquirl has. Perhaps a lighter than navy solid like you are wearing too, but later.

I agree was reaching for patterns before solids. I think I was talking to Stevent about this with shoes. I always opted for unique pieces and now I'm cringing spending money on pieced I should have bought when I started dressing for work. I guess better late than never.

I do want a sort of rust/burgundy sport coat for fall though.

Rust/burgundy... Hmmm, I might have to consider that in lieu of brown.

I wouldn't say in lieu of brown. I have a brown already but want something different to throw in the mix. You probably would get more wear out of brown than rust

Yeah, good point. I'll have to see what fabrics are available when I look into having it made.

You certainly have the wardrobe for that - just bring your photography up to par to do it justice.

You rang.....I love my tobacco fresco jacket, but something like this would be more versatile.
