Last day at work before the long Victoria Day holiday weekend here in Canada...
Ring Jacket, BB Golden Fleece, woollen tie by Marinella for Drumhor, olive green vintage PS. Unseen: dark brown PRL custom chinos and chestnut Stemar V-tips.
The square is from Rota and I purchased it in Antwerpen in a very cool Menswear shop. The sales guy actually recognised me to my surprise.
They really have a great selection there
Buying a Dundee Cake several Christmases ago and wearing a Gryffindor tie and a brown tweed suit that I got at Brooks Brothers in 1965. Since this picture was taken, I have had the trousers shortened. My older trousers are all too long since I have become shorter as the various components of my lower spine have degenerated.......

Yes, that's Ye Olde King's Head in Santa Monica. I'm going there again this weekend to get some Empire Biscuits for Empire Day (May 24th).
Here's picture from one of the very few rainy days that ever happen here sitting on my favorite bench on the Avenue des Chumps-Élysées with the Gryffindor tie, Polo Ralph Lauren jacket, Brooks Brothers PPBD shirt and umbrella, Tommy Hilfiger sweater vest, Hermes pocket square, Orvis cord trousers, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.
(No one ever notices that I am wearing a Gryffindor tie. Sometime people ask if it's a University Of Second Choice tie. It's rather annoying when anyone thinks that I might have gone to that sort of place.)
