Thank you Pliny.
I lived in Japan for three years, married to a Japanese girl, and travel there twice a year. Took some time (1 year) to get the first pair, but now it should all go faster.

Working in a store selling various shoes, and we've got Yanagimachi-san visiting in June. Fat chance I'll end up ordering a pair from him too.

I found some of his other bespoke beauties online.  Guy's an amazing crafts-person. :satisfied:

Which one of them? :D I'm biased, but I appreciate how they look plain but delicate. Next pair will have slightly more flair. Chisel last black full brogue!

Justinkapur,

Your tie knots always looks excellent - dimpled without being overly tightened.  How about a quick video of you tying a tie - there must be a trick you have that I am missing!  Thanks in advance!

Good stuff, guys.

Victor, I think that post with the blue suit is your best of recent. Excellent.

Thank you for the kind words. I just use a simple four in hand for most of my knots or loop it once and then do a four in hand depending on the length of the tie.

Here is a great set of videos from the armoury on tie tying. My favorite is Allens

I really like this but, and I rarely say this, I think it would have been better with a white shirt. Oxford cloth, of course. Either way, really nice stuff.
