That SC is GORGEOUS!!

Ugh! My wife is up in Illinois and they got snow a few days ago. I'm soooo excited about moving there *sarcasm*.

Thanks!

I'm hip, I've got a sister in Moline.

Growing up in TX they taught us not to piss on our hands

Pick away my friend, your bona fides precede you!!

I used to be able to pick out a lot of tartans from being dragged round Scottish weaving mills on road trips, feeding my Mam's never ending hunger for skirt fabrics etc. still I don't recognize that one, looks a bit like a dress or more likely hunting Menzies if its monochrome. Add a yellow line and you're getting close to Campbell, but I stand to be corrected by any knowledgable checky skirt wearers looking in!

More summer, more blue. Fresco, oxford and cotton.

Good stuff, CM. Colors and fit are great.

The only thing that struck me as causing some dissonance was the pattern of the tie as it relates to the jacket: the windowpane of a different scale in the size of the box, the angles of the lines, and the space between the lines. So visually (to me, and I'm not really advanced enough to explain it any better) it crashes together a bit, although clearly as you get a few feet further back the tie resolves itself to pretty much flat brown.

100% correct. I would have preferred if the tie was a plain herringbone. However I am in the process of a move and this is one of the few ties that isn't packet. Good observation.

I hate to stoke CM's ego, but that really is a nice jacket. He even accessorized it in a pleasing way. Dammit. smile.gif

Definitely my favorite fit of yours. Love how these pants fit you. Nice drape and fairly clean lines. Roomy but not baggy. Maybe the jacket sleeves are a bit long, otherwise great fit.
