It's not so much an extended debate as it is me not reading posts promptly.

Don't forget to enter our SF Gallery Contest for a chance to win a $200 gift card to Opumo and/or a custom title....for those who don't know what that is, look under my username and you'll see "The Moral Squirrel".

For you guys that are camera shy or feel awkward taking selfies (because it is awkward), the clothing grid category is for you. Lay your outfit on the floor and snap a picture, it's that simple. Create your gallery and submit your entry following the instructions in the announcement here:

http://www.styleforum.net/a/styleforums-first-ever-gallery-contest-win-a-gift-certificate-to-opumo-com-and-a-custom-title

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or @Cleav in the applicable thread. Best of luck.

Cheers,

Squirly Murl

Do we have to do both?

If by both you mean clothing grid or WIWT....one or the other. No need for both.

This tie is not going to play well here, I think.

Being old enough to have lived through the 80's and 90's, when large-scale patterns like that tie were in fashion, your posting gives me a bit of nostalgia, but also reminds me why we don't wear those patterns any more. Is it vintage Ferragamo, or some imitation thereof?

Brooks Brothers.

It won't become a habit, of course.

Don't fret. My late husband bought something very similar in Paris int the early '90s, except that the background was blue, and the giraffes were larger in scale. Whether or not he actually ever wore it is another matter . . .

Larger giraffes would be a bit much, even for me. This is the right tie for Mardi Gras, which is probably the next time it'll come out. :bigstar:

Ties like that remind me of...HOLDFAST. We miss him dearly.

Wait what happened to Holdfast?

it seems that he has deleted all his pictures...

Too bad, I liked his style

I am sure others would know better but I am assuming maybe it was a wise thing to do given his profession? I not sure.
