Like the color combo, would really like to see the jacket being just a touch longer.

Some people leave a button or 2 unbuttoned on jacket sleeves.
Some people always wear braces.
Some people always wear white shirts.
Some people always wear bow-ties.
Etc.

Thanks. But that is a trend that just started a year or so ago, isn't it? I mean, I have not seen this happening before and all of a sudden all those Pitty Tumblr/Blogs started to show people doing it, so I thought it had a meaning.

I have seen it well beyond a year ago.
No meaning. Just a "look" that some like.

I love the clothes, the fit and everything... really really nice outfit but I have a quick question, for Braddock or anyone else who knows the answer. Why is it a fashion trend now to show both ends of the ties...??? Does it have any meaning? Or it is just because some trendsetter started to wear ties like that and it cought on and now a lot of people do it??
I mean no harm with my question, it is an honest doubt I have.
Thanks in advance to whoever answers me.

I must have a very long torso as there is no way I can get the ends of my ties to meet up like that unless I want it ending mid abdomen.

Right. It's not for you/everyone.

Happy Friday, everyone.

As always, thanks awfully to everyone who likes my pictures and to everyone who takes the time and trouble to post pictures.  Earlier today, when upr_crust mentioned "less-than-stellar" sources, I imagined that he was referring to one of my former employers, The Metropolitan Museum Of Art.

Doing my part to stimulate the economy (and use the 40% Off card that came in the mail).....

Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece silk jacket, ecru PPBD shirt, and tie, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Orvis trousers, Allen-Edmonds khaki grain Mc Tavishes, and (in the bag) a Brooks Brothers pink PPBD (which, for some reason, is a much paler pink than the Brooks Brothers OCBD shirts).

Perfect. Love the combo, love the open buttons at the bottom if the vest and love the length. Great pic with the hand in the pants pocket; it achieves the right balance of sophistication and elegence with je ne sesi quoi. Really, really nice!

Yesterday.  12 hour day with Parent-Teacher Conferences.  The bottom half may be too dark for the top.

Since we are talking about phrases that make the stomach churn, I will add "I would rock..."

That's funny because it sounds like something you would say!

I though socks were grey this morning when putting them on in the dark. I actually really like the dark green with it
