I really really like that, GMMcl.....you too, Cleav. All these white shirts better be entered in the FC.

I like this. Who makes the jacket?

Just collected this tweed jacket from Cad & the Dandy - fabric is from the Holland & Sherry Peacock bunch...

I hope you get the general idea, despite the bad picture exacerbated by the grey weather here today...

That jacket is so short on you...

RTC, I suspect you are going by the knuckle 'rule' - which is, as we all should know, not an accurate guide. I have slightly longer arms (and legs) in relation to my relatively short torso. This jacket covers my backside and the vertical balance (i.e. where the jacket ends in relation to my whole body) is perfect - you won't be able to see this from the photo however.

Tie pen0r poking out looks bad, detracts from the good look.

And I took my turn at the Brooks Brothers trad repp like @mossrockss and @EliodA (thanks for the inspiration!). I know I saw it in one more fit recently so if anyone remembers who that was let me know and I'll add him below in the "who wore it best" spoiler icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

That's a cool looking fabric you got there. Why no patch pockets though? I've tried wearing a striped shirt with a gun check as well, but a solid shirt works a little better.

Sleeves as well, those are easily fixed. Fair enough.

Still, your sleeves are too short.... :nest:

Not a gunclub man myself, but this cloth looks really nice.

And the jacket sleeves are fine too, it's the shirt sleeves that are 1/2" too long. Commercial shirts tend to come in 32" at the shortest. I take 31.5". I just can't be bothered to have any remaining shirts that I bought very cheap OTR altered. Sometimes I wear sleeve garters but not today.

Yeah, I agree. I just slipped on the jacket over what I was wearing to take a quick picture. I was actually wearing a blue blazer with the striped shirt. As for the pockets, I just wanted them like this - I don't think it's all that unusual.

GM, if it's ok, I may reach out via PM to try to better understand your feedback. Thanks again!

Of course, JC. Anytime.

I'll bring the bottle, you bring your salt by the grain -- because you should take any of my advice with several grains of it. fing02[1].gif
