I'd rather be wearing my Robbie Keane jersey and drinking beer, but this is what I'm wearing. Shirt is a light blue striped chambray.

I dunno about anything paisley but I happily accept the compliment - thank you! smile.gif

This is actually the only paisley tie I own because there's such a narrow band of them that I can get behind.

If I've been a dick about it, you've read that into it; I try not to project things onto people (which is what you're doing). I'm sorry, but, if anyone's trolling around here, it's you trolling me. Just let me critique like anyone else has the right to do, and ignore my comments, if you want to.

Really like the result. It looks great on you. I still have to find a reason to wear one more casually, out of the tux.

Thanks, Chu! And thanks to everyone for the thumbs yesterday; haven't been posting here for a while since starting a new job... time to commence slacking once again nod[1].gif

I wonder if the cuffs can be unbuttoned and turned back there.

The brand may have a military background, though I believe the original shop is in Eton.

As for the cuffs, they can indeed be unbuttoned and turned back.

To each his own - I favor flamboyant ties when I can get away with them.

Now a paisley jacket...there must be some way to wear that.

Crusty, your wit and linguistic proficiency never cease to brighten my day.  "Expiatory kinks in the libido" is a beautiful and deft turn of phrase.

Posting this fit as a bit of self-critique: this fit called for a warmer tie.  Might be all the excuse I need to snag this one: http://www.nomanwalksalone.com/index.php/unlined-and-handrolled-brown-cashmere-tie.html

Absolutely no offense meant by this comment but ...

The thing I always admire most in your pictures are those amazing looking speakers.
