Not liturgically correct for Laetare Sunday. I need to find a rose-colored tie.

Yesterday aka Pi Day of the Century.  Feeling very @clarinetplayer with a white shirt and tweedy jacket.

Excellent jacket and shoes; I really like the texture of the former.

Thanks. The jacket is from Sartore; fabric is super-100's wool from Reda. Purchased in Sydney for an embarrassingly low price.

That is a great tie, Cox.

Monday morning and a CBD day. Doesn't make me happy, so the smile is somewhat forced...

The suit doesnt photograph as blue or grey a bit of a hybrid of both. I am thinking of my dark brown Vass captoes but want to see what everyone opinion would be? I could upload a pic however its a shit photo as its hard to photograph.

Thanks!

You've got a lot of options with a grey suit and that tie. Can't go wrong with dk brown, but maybe because it's a celebration you could go crazy and wear something lite.  I wore this to my daughter's engagement party recently.

I find that Cox's upper parts are a little too casual for the worsted wool trousers and Captoe Oxfords. I don't blame you for going with those pants, I would've fallen back on grey as well. Anyway, I hope the shoes will work wonderfully for you! Just my $0.02, have a good start to your week.

Good point. Textures of jacket and pants are not an ideal match. Unfortunately it's still too warm in Sydney to go for a mid-weight light grey flannel trouser that I have in my wardrobe. Might try that one next time.
