We have an Andrew's Ties in Toronto. I'd been a little curious about their quality.

Quality, in my limited experience with their ties, is good, if not great. The saving grace of the brand is the wide spectrum of colors they stock - a good place to go to find a specific shade of tie.

Another cuppa! Totally unmotivated on a Tuesday morning.

My only saving grace was that I ran 8 miles early this morning.
Great to put a face to a fit - congrats on sharing!
@upr_crust Wish you'd lead with the standing rather than seated shot. I prefer it (fwiw).

@clarinetplayer Another face emerges from the shadows; welcome!
For better or worse, the Crusty Crouch seems to be my trademark, and in years past, the color balance was always better on the seated shots than the standing ones, though that is no longer true.

Most humanoids look better full-length than folded in half. :).

Andrew's Ties has a store right in Union Station, Washington, DC.
I have 3 ties from them and they've held up pretty well.
For $40, I think they're fine.
As for their MADE IN ITALY tag, I don't really buy into that.

I talked to the SA (possibly owner) of the store I went to yesterday and he showed me some pictures of coming ties etc and he told me a great deal about their tie makers in Milan. Their shirts are maid in Hungary though (with Italian fabrics).

Deets on the suit? Not sure whether that's the item you're mentioning from Panta. It's brilliant, and I'm looking to buy a grey sharkskin in the fall.

Claghorn, wear more suits.

I rarely have occasion to wear them, and unless they're super casual, I'm generally uncomfortable in them unless I have cause to be wearing one.

These days, I've been wearing a lot of suits on Mondays. Monday's business spilled into Tuesday.

@clarinetplayer seeing your face definitely enhances your already magnificent fits....I think everyone should start posting photos with their faces in it, it definitely helps with completenes!

It's Election Day in California. Here I am at my Poling Place, wearing my "I Voted" sticker and trying for a "Brooks Brothers Black Fleece Without Getting Fleeced Look" by wearing a jacket that's too small, too short, and too tight.

It's a Middishade jacket from the sixties that I got at a junk shop for less than the sales tax on a Black Fleece jacket. Also wearing a Brooks Brothers blue OCBD, Windsor tie, Orvis trousers, and AE shoes.

I've been busy, working from home, and otherwise lurking/unable to post. But here are some highlights.
I like these two SC a lot. Good shoulder/chest fit. Maybe a touch too long in the sleeves though. :slayer:

Appreciate the feedback and compliment. Thanks.

Yes, they're probably longer than are preferred here. Two thoughts, though: 1) My sleeves are rolled in the first pic (post work); and 2) I wear my watch on that side that's down, so the shirt doesn't always show on that side.

Personally, I prefer, when I can, not to show more than a sliver of shirt. I know that's against Styleforum doctrine and current tastes. I have T-Rex arms and more .... ample... proportions, and shorter jacket sleeves (and pant hem, and slim trou....) tend to accentuate that -- which I don't like. (I also feel the "highwater" look that's often featured by #menswear looks poorly tailored -- like someone outgrew their clothes, but YMMV) To be sure, sometimes my jackets come to me already shortened and there's not much I can do about it, so I just go with it. But where I can, I prefer them a hair longer than SF prefers. To me, these are bang on.

Some really great looks in there, Greg. My only nit to pick is that I think the dotted tie in the first pic looks out of place with the rest of the outfit.

Pants are linen, tie is linen/cotton/silk from Howard Yount:
