A fine day for a boutonnier made in silk. The DB suit is from the 1940´s and the tie may be older. The shirt is also from the same period with a loose and starched collar.

This may be the end of tweed for the season. Glad to see the snow go, but not the tweeds...

Really nice outfits out here today. If I would have to pick one (or two), I guess I would go with the ones TobiasM posted... or TheoMerc, whose style I feel more in sync with I guess.

It's been an amazing day here in Charlotte, NC.

So I figured I'd share some photos of what we're wearing at the shop.

I like your second outfit. Very nice. Can you tell us who made that blue SC?

You seem to have a classic up-to-date style.

One question regarding the vest you are wearin in the first picture, are they comfortable? I mean, are they easy to wear? I always liked them but I am afraid they would be a nuissance due to how low they go...

Thanks Chulillo!

We're actually both wearing all ABBEYDALE, we're a custom mens shop that can make anything from suits to sport coats to shoes. But I'm wearing a heather blue wool SC, it's completely unstructured, no shoulder padding, no lining, but has a hand pleated shoulder and a throat tab. I lean pretty Italian with my dress.

As far as the vest goes, David says he likes the scoop vest, especially since it's in navy, it's super easy to layer with other pieces and I like it because it gives some room to show off a nice shirt/tie combo. Hope that helps!

I blame meaty thighs and winter hibernation dieting.
