Looks fantastic.

@Journeyman, fair question. Honestly, it did not bother me enough to warrant asking/demanding that Formosa make new sleeves entirely for the jacket, but ymmv I guess.

Ill let @gdl203 comment further if he is so interested.

Row, row, row your coat.  I love this pocket square with this jacket.  The colors are spot on in my opinion.  I think a white OCBD would have provided more contrast here, but I opted for a blue a la SF group think.  I'll stick to my guns and go with white next time.  I kept everything else solid.  I've been looking for a fourth color to go with this jacket as I tend to just stick with the three in the jacket.  The pocket square has some green/olive in it and I think it may go nicely.  I'll try it later.

I came in second place in the pi contest with 130 digits.  The math club president finally aced me after 4 years of trying with 137 digits.  Go, seniors.

Thumbed for general audacity, though the camo overcoat makes it look like you're going to war on behalf of the Yale rowing team ...

Cheers,

Looking as much like Number Two on "The Prisoner" as I ever have and waiting for my friend while she looked at something at Neiman-Marcus.

Brooks Brothers (Marks & Sparks era) Brooksweave tropical worsted suit (it was around 85F here today), PPBD shirt, tie, and argyle socks, Allen-Edmonds for Brooks Brothers black Strands, and a Gucci pocket square that my friend gave me for my birthday in 1976.

Smacking it out of the park.  Great tie too.

Meh, I probably wouldn't wear that tie Monkey is wearing though. It's not a bad tie, just not something I am drawn to. I hear you on the green though.

Thanks man! Doesn't look like this fit is feeling the love of many thumbs, but the ones who have thumbed it are people whose style I respect, so I can count that as a win!

And the things you are unsure about get the most love! haha

Is it a SC or half of a suit?

Weave of the jacket puts it safely into SC territory to me.

Another pair of eyes never hurts to confirm suspicions.

Fair question, arnathor, I'm with CM and think the texture lets the jacket stand on its own (the fabric was what sold me on the jacket in the first place), but I'd love to have the matching trousers.  Outside of worsted wools and monotone flannel jackets, I don't sweat the distinction between sport coat and suit vibes too much.  I love some of the recent textured suits I've seen and am glad that the forum seems to be embracing the casual suit.

^Is the button as high IRL as it looks to be in the pic?

It's certainly higher than most of my jackets (about on par with the Samuelsohn Bernard line that Epaulet carried).  The iPhone's cheap camera certainly flattens out the middle of the frame and distorts the edges, so the high button stance is exaggerated, but yes, this is more "aggressive" than "traditional".
