HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) - Page 1077

By AAS standards -  which I feel I've come to appreciate, if not love, reasonably well -  this is an outstanding fit IMO  There's no part of the visible spectrum unrepresented, it has Blackwatch, and a contrasting vest too, so what's not to like?

But who watches the black watch?

My partner doesn't participate on SF (or AAAC, for that matter), so "none of the above" is the correct answer. He does, however, exist - Stitchy, PB, and Cleav have all met him (and vice versa).

Details on the trousers?  Thanks.

PRL from eBay.  100% wool, herringbone, single reverse pleat, high waisted, no belt loops, side adjusters, hook and eye extended tab waist band.  One of my favorite pair of pants at the moment.  I'm thinking of having some other pants made using these as a model.

I'm sure he is a terrific fella, but I am disappoint, u could have fit battles with Braddock/Sander.

Today.  First go at the ood vest challenge.  Black watch belt under the vest.

Damn near perfect for me, and just the shade of brown (mocha, perhaps?) I've been looking for for some time now.

Thanks.

He IS a terrific fella, but the two of us having fit battles with Braddock/Sander pits two talented amateurs against two professionals in the menswear business - not quite a fair fight (though perhaps capable of producing some potentially spectacular photos).

Today's suit features an unusual fabric - wool 50%/cotton 25%/silk 25%. Slightly prone to wrinkling, and I think the trousers need a press.

Tie and square are matchy-matchy (although main and secondary colours are reversed). Noticed this in the mirror and decided I liked it despite that.

damne that's good Cox

The suit is pretty loud...I don't think the tie/square combo is too matchy matchy because it keeps the suit in check. I think it looks very solid.

I'm kind of a loud-suit guy. Glad to know I'm maintaining an even strain despite that.
