However, Lincoln is probably fortunate that he never posted any pictures online, as one can only imagine all the bizarre comments that he would get.......

If any president deserved his own holiday, it's old Abe.

I have an SB peak in a large check tweed from Paul Stuart and really like it. It's a strange jacket, for sure, but I feel like the peak lapels somehow make it more "city" appropriate (which is where I wear it), than the more country-vibe notch variety (which I also frequently wear, though). If I worked in any type of 'business office' it would of course look ridiculous (as would any large check tweed I suppose...), but I work in a fairly eccentric environment, so particularly funky jackets are fun every now and then...
I'll snap a photo the next time I wear it. I'm curious how much hate it might inspire!

Nice summer day! Today we have:

Sunglasses: Moscot

That's really nice.....I hope the shirt is light blue. I'd nip that waist just a hair to give the jacket a little shape.

Picutre is much better, SB. FIt isn't too shabby either.

Shirt is light blue micro gingham and I agree about the waist - tailor let it out a bit and went too far

Looking forward to see that! BTW, this is the pic in Flusser that I was talking about (apologies for the bad quality):

It even has hacking pockets, which are distinctly country of course.

@jfrater I'm afraid your tailor let out the waist too much, it has thrown the button placement off. Looks very asymmetrical now, the buttons on the righthand side are almost on the centerline.

Trousers could be tapered a bit and the whole look would benefit from a (solid) shirt in a slightly more saturated blue, IMO

First go at the Friday Challenge.  New red grenadine tie.  Also red in the sweater (everyone's favorite), pocket square, watch band and socks.

Who's the idiot that decided to stop recognizing Lincoln's bday as a holiday? Now we have dumb Valentine's day to deal with, a day made up by Hallmark. FU, Hallmark.

^^  Go down well in Italy I reckon.  Elegant.  (but that fancy-stripe is a bridge too far for me, and PS matchy-ness)

Pics please!

I think the hacking pockets work well with the peak lapels, a nice counterbalancing of all those slanted lines.

I'll wear it tomorrow. My pictures always suck, mind you, but I'll do my best...

I wonder what would happen if someone posted a picture of hitler wearing a SB suit with notch lapels. Would you burn your entire suit wardrobe and only wear DB's from then on?

Why stop at SB peaks?  Dude wore clothes..  I'm going naked.
