I'm glad you like it, but I'm curious about what part(s) you find "fucked up".  I mean I'm not wearing bit loafers.

What difference does it make though?

I guess it makes no difference at all... if you disregard traditional seasonality norms of fabrics in certain applications. sarcasm.gif

I do. Maybe it was Fall type weather in Baltimore or maybe he just said to hell with norms. Either way, it looks damn good.

I didn't say it didn't look good. And a pat on the back to all you seasonal-fabric-disregarding rebels. So cool, you rule breakers, you.

The seersucker vest with the madras jacket. It shouldn't work, but it does. It was a compliment...

the tie is a completely unlined, lightweight, cashmere. perhaps its a bastard of a tie, but its certainly light and airy enough to be worn in spring/summer and i do not think the texture is so aggressively wooly that it jumps out as fall/winter wear.

i do think that there is what to be said about seasonality. more so in terms of coherency, meaning that an obviously winter rig with a standout summer piece, or visa versa, will often look odd, but as well as simply sticking to items that are in fact coherent with the season. all the same, i would echo what i said earlier, its another one of those "rules" that is often tossed around here too freely, and applied as critique, when in fact, it has no bearing at all.

thanks for the compliments, gents.

evolve, i dont think you are academically wrong about the tie leaning towards fall, but for the above reason, imo, its non relevant here.

excellent crotch shots, spoo.
