Nice, lovely SC.  As PCK says, the white shirt's not optimal with tweed.  They're formal.  What's the quality ofthe Rubi shoes?

Loved  JK Simmon's performance, did u?. And the other guy too.  My fav movie this and last year. As a study of a messed-up masochistic relationship, Whiplash  beats Gone Girl by a country mile. One of those movies that restores my faith in cinema.

Yes.  Best movie I've seen in quite some time.  That and Imitation Game, for different reasons, were my two favorites of late.  I guess I like movies that explore the relationship between genius and instability.

The Rubinacci shoes are actually really decent. I have a pair of slip on shoes too which I have worn recently and they are very soft and comfortable. The boots are a perfect comfortable fit and they seem to be really well made. They have those rubber soles (dainite?) that you see on a lot of Skoak shoes.

Wonder who makes them-  I find some of the styling appealing.

@heldentenor I'd watch it again i a heartbeat

Normally this is the absolute hottest time of year in Melbourne. Finals weekend of the Australian Tennis Open tournament often features centre-court temperatures in the high 40s. But not this year. It's cool, cool, cool right now and I can get away with wearing flannel trousers.

Still opted for summery colours though. And for some reason I felt today's rig was complete without a pocket square.

Apparently someone called SW1 may have made some of their shoes - but I can't really find out anything more than that.

 Stuart Weitzman's Italian venture, I thought they went out of biz.  So they'd probably be Blake/Rapid construction, less waterproof but sleeker than Goodyear welted they make in Northampton.

@Cox  awsm jacket -  bit more roll on the shirt collar would make this next level IMO

Not feeling that shirt, but everything else is so nice that I gave it a "thumb". I don't mind no PS here and nice use of darker trousers (SF sacrilege!)

How did you come to the decision to go with that PS? I like what you've done here but not sure I understand the PS choice. It begs to be worn with a high contrast summer outfit IMO.
