That is precisely what I did. I first polished them (Saphir mid-brown cream for the whole shoe and then a bit of Kiwi Black polish for the toe). For the mirror finish, I applied several coats of Saphir Glaçage exactly as described above by Pliny.

Perseverance is key. And thanks for the thumbs, gents. Speaking of which, here's one more:

I was going for a "Standing Shakespeare" look, based on his better known "Sitting Shakespeare" look, either of which might be a particularly good look for you if you were an English, rather than a Math, teacher.

Debut of my new gun-check odd jacket, a crazy opportunistic purchase from last week.

Shoes are from Tianzi Shanghai, copied for me as a one-off from an Antonio Meccariello design.

New jacket, tie and square day.

PS:http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/collections/accessories/products/cabaret-tangerine-pocket-square

I've been lusting for this 100 % cashmere beauty since I read this article and finally found one on the bay at a fair price.

The tie is a Corneliani in wool.

A snow day in NYC - public transport is suspended, and I must work from home (a concept that I loathe - Home is where I DON'T work). But, to prove that I do not live my entire life in three-piece suits, today's attire.

Leather jacket, cords, sweater, cap - BB
Shirt - Lewin
Scarf - Johnstons of Elgin
Hiking boots - Keens

Why are you wearing pants when you don't have to leave the apartment?

Would you rather have @upr_crust post pics without him wearing pants?

@Anden very nice! What shoes are you wearing?

Braddock - tell me about the sweater.
If I may, Braddock is wearing a Fair Isle sweater better than I can recall one ever being worn. That said, I don't care for them at all. Which is odd because I love most all of the old school classics.

Damn, seeing @Anden's photo I just remembered what I should have used for my Friday challenge - Scandinavia vs. rest of the world. Oh well, we can kick the rest of the world's butt some another time I guess......... mwink[1].gif
