His tie appears orange to me. I think I have the same one (Henry Carter?)

Noodles, I think, as you mentioned, the neck opening looks weird in the first one and the sleeves are too long. The others look very nice. I think stylistically they are a bit more timeless than your previous stuff.

I saw this and immediately knew it's UCLA parking garage... was just trying to figure out which one! Very professorial and looking good Roy.

Noodles, combination wise I think those are all good, with the exception that I am unsure about the square in the middle fit.

GMM, I really like that a lot. The tie and the pants are a little bit on the matchy side, but I still like it a lot.

Thanks!

Yes, the 1st pic has a lot of bad stuff. The shirt collars sit too low and I have a long neck. I just took that P.o.W. out of the box and put it on.

Suggestions on the GNAT would be appreciated.

Hathanks!
(BTW, when I organize that jacket in my closet, I file under "Because FU, that's why")

Makes perfect sense. Also, it is really an excellent jacket to use with the gray tie, good move.

What, charcoal?  :D

But seriously, guys ... (Click to show)

The tie is close to my grad alma mater's colors, but not quite.  In real life the tie's colors are dark purple and orange.  The purple's dark enough to pass for black at an annual reunion, perhaps, but that's partially because everyone would be drunk ...

Cheers,

Ac

Somehow I knew this would come up lol. I understand that I am in the minority, but you do realize that I am the guy who argued with Manton over the merits of brown trousers, right? Exactly zero people agreed with me on that one but I still like em. And I still think they can look great. I may be a contrarian, but I am a contrarian who has reasons for everything he believes.

So, that makes you....

@Gerry Nelson 's yellow tie fit works because the tie is orange...

Love it. Who makes the tie?

Ha!

Well, across the board brown trouser hate is almost as cray cray as blur trouser hate.

In any case, Im glad you have your reasons, though essentially, as with many things menswear related, they are really personal aesthetic preferences.

But srsly, navy suit/black tie/white shirt is teh awesome.

No it isn't.

I have to say, their tie selection recently is superb -- printed grenadines, striped grenadines, wool challis -- and all priced well below Drakes. Tie knot is sometimes not as good, but hard to beat for the money.
