Cox, not only does the suit look great, I think the combo is superb. One of your best.

CM, I too dont like the high sweater with the tie so much, but for some reason it does not really bother me. Maybe because I think the rig as a whole looks nice.

@Coxsackie  I'm in the middle of a similar experiment for the same reason (chest is disproportionally larger than back).  I've been happy with the initial results of sizing up to fit the chest and then having the jacket taken in at the shoulder blades, which helps slim the jacket a little bit.  I've done this with a MTM suit that was a slim cut based model and one of Zegna's slimmer cuts.  I've not had to do any modifications to the shoulders, which probably makes it a little cheaper and easier for me.

Yes, it is somewhat controversial, however I purposefully go for just a little bit of tie peaking out of the top. That's how my granddad used to wear it. Come to think of it, I wear flat caps a lot because he used to as well.

Nice, CP. Today:

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality

Pants are actually a dark olive green. In hindsight, probably would have gone with a more muted, "earthy" square.

If you call that a hair cut, then you need at least 10 more:rotflmao:

Anyways, this is the best look from you.

Hey Iso, this is most definitely the best fit I have seen from you. It looks great.

CD, besides that being a really good fit, great job on nicely pairing a square with a jacket that I would generally find easy to lead to square fail.
